PAST MEETINGS

Dec: 13 : Tuesday : Christmas Lunch at Rose Cottage

No meeting this month - but see "Dining" and "Theatre"

11 Jan 2012 (Weds) Noon - Start the year BBQ

Not exactly a meeting - and not exactly dining - sort of both. Our New Year's BYO lunch/picnic/BBQ at the Hamer Arboretum, Chalet Rd., Olinda. BYO everything - chair, food, drink and dog.  And, compulsory - bring something that flies: planes, boomerangs, broomsticks, frisbees. There are electric BBQs there, and Helen and Dale will be bringing a BBQ too, if you want to bring something that needs cooking.

Nov: 8 : Wednesday : George Skarbek: Computer Guru

Another popular speaker from earlier this year, George kindly offered to return for another session. George, apart from his encyclopaedic knowledge of computers, also reviews Digital Cameras and GPSs. We thought that if anyone has any questions about their computer, camera and/or GPS, we will have a Q&A session with George

Oct 12 : Wednesday: Leading Senior Constable Craig Lane from Belgrave/Olinda Police

Craig was such a popular speaker last year, we’ve asked him to return. He’s suggested a Q & A type of session, so please have some questions for him regarding local policing issues. If you already have some questions, could you please email/phone Helen H (9751 1063) so that I can forward them on to Craig before the meeting? Just in case there are some curly ones and he might need to do some research.
